Plastic insulated flame retardant cable

  • Maximum rated temperature of cable conductor: 70 °C for PVC cable and 90 °C for XLPE cable
  • When short circuit (maximum duration does not exceed 5S), the maximum temperature of PVP cable conductor does not exceed 160 °C, XLPE cable does not exceed 250 °C
  • When the cable is laid, the ambient temperature is not lower than 0 °C, and the minimum bending radius is:
    Single core cable 20 (D + d) mm; multi core cable 15 (D + d) mm
    Where: D – the actual outer diameter of the cable mm; d – the actual outer diameter of the conductor mm

Shape Description

Under the specified test conditions, after the test sample is removed from the combustion sample, the flame spreads only within the limited range, and the residual flame or residual burn can be self-limited within a limited time.
     The extinguished cable is called a flame retardant cable. According to the bundle burning test method (GB12666.5) as the flame retardant performance of the flame retardant cable. The GB12666.5 standard stipulates three combinations of the number of combustible materials, the source of fire and the time of action, and divides the flame retardant performance of the flame retardant cable into three grades: A, B and C.
